I once heard a writer talking about pacing in their book using a similar pattern. It intrigues me that there could be an underlying rhythm that seems to be a necessary component of satisfying art.
This a really insightful way to think about this - especially since it's math-ing music. I love to see that kind of non-analogus comp.
